I’m so excited to finally share this pattern test with you all! I was so lucky for the chance to test Made for Mermaids Mama Bridgette Bralette/Nightie and Mama Victoria Cheekies! Honestly, I never thought I’d be talented enough to sew these type of things but M4M made it SO easy! I’m thrilled to finally have bralettes that actually fit now! No more empty cups or too tight bands. The possibilities with these two patterns are absolutely endless. I’m officially addicted to making them. I mean look at all these variations! That doesn’t even include all the trims, fabric types, appliques, and lace galore you can use!
As you can see I made some really pretty ones with lace from Surge Fabric Shop (Use this link and you’ll get 10% off your first order!) and then went a little rogue with a custom Zombie fabric from Rockerbye Destash Fabrics. (It’s currently sold out but will be opening for pre-order again very soon!). Boho Fabrics also has a great stock of lace right now. The Bridgette and Victoria are also really great scrap buster patterns for all those extra scraps you just can’t throw away ( I can’t be the only one right??).
I absolutely encourage all of you ladies to step out of your comfort zone a little and do something nice for yourself! I guarantee hubby won’t mind when this box of fabric shows up on the front porch! 😉 I’m keeping these pictures here pretty PG, but I’m definitely ready for valentine’s day and all of my open back tops I have now have pretty bralettes to wear underneath! Head on over to Made For Mermaids and grab the patterns while they are on sale until Friday 2/2 midnight cst.
I hope you all enjoy sewing these as much as I did. I’ll be back soon with something that will pair very well with these 😉 !
P.S. The shirt pattern is the awesome Patterns for Pirates Ragdoll Raglan
